Right now all you experienced hands. How about taking some photos of you fly boxes and posting them here to show beginners what to look for.
Who's first?

Show me yours and I'll show you mine ! - excellent idea salmo. I anticipate a lot of tidying up going on over the weekend. It will be interesting to see who goes for which of the various fly box 'looks' currently available to salmon fishers ...... Emperors Warriors, Organised Chaos, Tumbling Mass, Wet 'N Wild etc I will set up my 'shoot' at The Hermitage (Dunkeld) tomorrow.

A wee selection. Sorry for the pic quality. They looked much more detailed afore I put them into thon Photobucket thing. Mind and click the "reduced image" whujammacallit. Salmon doubles - big stuff. A couple of low water singles and a wee row of Stoats Tail's - just incase. Sea trout and grilse selection. Usual suspects plus a few tandem lures and micro threebles. Salmon trebles - big stuff. Back end - red / yellow / black and mair red. Current selection for small - medium sized waters. All eventualities covered. A tangled mass of red / yellow and black. Early and back end tubes. Note : as you can see I subscribe to the Emperors Warriors school of presentation - tidy hoose ... tidy flee box ....tidy mind. BTW, the guy lying unconcho in the background has nothing to do with me - bliddy "Right To Roam Act" STip

When Mike posts all of his flee boxes, I suspect Photobucket will need to order a new server! ;D

One of my tidier fly boxes... Mike Obviously a favoured pattern Mike! Do you put a few in your hand luggage as well, in case the hold luggage goes astray? ;D Sounds like you're off to Russia soon - have a great trip.

Some very tidy boxes there Cadno.
I see a few white muddlers in the sea trout box, a very good fly in North Wales. Where do you fish for sea trout yourself?

Good sense of 'discipline' coming through in these flee boxes cadno. Novices take note - yellow, black and orange with a soupcon of blue just to liven things up a little.
