Thats a fair skelp of water coming into that pool James - beneath a set of fall's ? The pic looks like its taken from a bridge but if it was from a high bank it looks very similar (I know it's not) to the Upper Tay on one of the Grandtully beats such as Findynate or Derculich. The Oykel ?

I'm just following the crowd here really as every one else seems to be going for that general area,
The Connon
I somehow think it unlikely that I could name the angler!

Highlandfisher and Andy
Unfortunately both are wrong, but as with all the above answers this River has a striking resemblance to nearly all of them ;D The second picture clue I have of this will instantly give the show away,so I am not going to use it till people get fed up with it
I reckon S/Tip has nearly got it as he is a deep thinking "Loon".
2nd clue
This River has a remarkable Spring run with a higher than average weight of fish.
James Chalmers
