131 salmon for the week, the rain certainly freshened things up a bit, just don't want too much water now.

Some Grilse showing all over the rivers, with a drop of rain most days for the next 10 days or so, could be a good time to be on the rivers.

What a week I'm missing, Dee fishing it's head off, Tay producing some 20lb er's, the Tweed also fishing well with a 13lb Sea Trout amongst the catches. The Border Esk and the Findhorn producing plenty as are the Hebrides, even a few from the Esks as well. The Spey seems quiet though.

Looks like my friends on the Dee next week should have a good chance of fish.π€ My friends on Ballogie ended up with 6 salmon, 1 sea trout, and lost about the same number. Not bad for two descent anglers, and two still learning.

Looks like the North West rivers should have a good level of water this week. Plenty of rain forecast.

The weather seems to be dictating where the fish are, those rivers with some water in them are fishing well, some like the Spey seem to be struggling, I also note a lot of rods not let on the Spey too. The Esks are bare bones but a few fish have been found, but the Dee, Tay and Tweed are all producing, with a few rods available for those wanting to try their luck. More rain forecast tonight, so Monday could well be a day to be on the river, sadly I'm not fit enough yet.

Even with all the water gone, the Esk rivers are producing a few fish, Canterland in particular, I really would like a few hours by a river, my local beat has been booked for two weeks, regulars, so maybe next week, no doubt with the boss in tow to keep an eye on me lol

4 seven pound fish from the North Esk this week, if they are grilse, they've had some good feeding at sea.

I have some friends on Kercock, this week. The last of their three, yearly visits. Looks like there will be no shortage of water. Let's hope they find some fish.

I'm waiting for the final tally. Don't expect much today, river looks to be rising. Apparently they have seen a few fish, over the week. π€

Final tally, 3 salmon, and 2 sea trout. Not good for 6 rods. This was the last visit, for this year. The next outing is the end of September, on the Findhorn. Hopefully will be back with them next season. I hope your recovery is coming along, ok.

A drop of rain and a modest lift in the North Esk and Canterland had eight fish to 7 lbs on Monday, just goes to show given some water there are fish to bhad.

Looks like we are in for another spell of warm, dry, weather. That's if the forecasters have got it correct.

Some rivers catches are down, yet the North Esk is producing a few, Gallery and Canterland had a fair week

I see the Tay had nearly three times as many fish, as the Dee.
